As we celebrate observe Memorial Day and African-American History,
we must remember that our lives were molded at the feet of our teachers. Through word and deed they
taught us to use our blackness as an opportunity and a challenge, not an excuse. They dared us to stand tall with
courage of conviction. We salute these, our heroes. Their legacy will continue as a torch handed to us and
down to generations yet unborn. May they rest in peace.
Mr. Fridia Set the Pace.
We honor the sincerity of their devotion and the merits of their labor.
